Dal Lake

Being the crowning glory of this beautiful city, the Dal Lake is a picture-perfect spot of Srinagar. Set against the majestic background of the Pir Panjal range, the lake is a mesmerising sight, especially during sunrise and sunset.

Hazratbal Mosque

This white-domed mosque of Srinagar houses a relic that is believed to be the hair of Prophet Mohammad. A splendid structure of history and divinity, the mosque only permits women’s entry till the first part of the mosque.

Shalimar Bagh

Shalimar bagh is the Mughal garden built by Sahjhan in the memory of her wife, Mumtaj, in front of Dal Lake. An exquisite hill is its immediate backdrop and the arched recesses behind the fountains add the additional glow to this park.

Nishat Bagh

Comprised of 12 terraced levels enrich with magnificent old chinars and flower rows, this Bagh has an alluring Mughal central water channel with several fountains. Built by Nur Jahan’s brother Asif Khan in 1633, the garden has an enticing charm.
